In a recent interview with the indie music blog Under the Radar, actor Philip Seymour Hoffman discussed his most recent film, 'Jack Goes Boating,' which also marks his directorial debut. When it came time to think of accompanying music for the movie, Hoffman reverted back to one of his favorite bands: Fleet Foxes. Hoffman first heard the Seattle-based folk outfit while he was in a coffee shop two years ago. "I was like, 'Wow, what a great song. What is that?' I downloaded the album, and it's a great album," the 'Capote' star said. "So when we were editing the film, I was kind of going through my musical tastes and the sounds [and feelings] of the movie, and that band kept coming to me. So I kept listening to that album thinking, 'There's something here.' And there was."
